Aspirants will be asked questions from three subjects namely - Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics (PCM) for Engineering and BCA, and Biology, Chemistry and Physics (PCB) for Bioengineering courses. Each section will contain 50 questions and 200 marks. The questions will be in the form of “Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Each question will carry 4 marks and 1/4th marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. No marks will be either awarded or deducted for not answering any question.

The examination pattern will be online based on multiple-choice questions having four options from which only one option is the correct answer to the question. Each correct answer will carry four marks. The candidate has to tick mark the right answer to get a positive score.

For each incorrect response, one-fourth (1/4) of the total marks allotted to the question would be deducted. No deduction from the total score will be made if no response is given to a question on the answer sheet.

Please note that more than one response indicated against a question would be deemed as an incorrect response and the answer would be negatively marked, even though one of the answers is correct. Thus, the response shall be considered negative with a deduction of one-fourth of the total marks.
