Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) is a well-known undergraduate bachelor’s degree program in Architecture. Architecture is the art of planning, designing, and constructing buildings and other physical structures. It is a five years undergraduate program that can be started after 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks. This course is designed to produce licensed and professional architects who are authorized to do private constructions and government constructions.
Architects can work in the office as well as on the construction site. In construction companies, they are working as a designer. You can also work independently and earn occupation through consultancy charges that depend upon your skills, profile, and experience.
As an Architect, your job is not limited to design a corporate workplace rather than you have to design houses, colonies, apartments, hospitals, hotels, stadiums, shopping complexes, schools, industrial complexes, etc.
Government Organizations offering jobs to the B.Arch Candidates such as Archaeological Department, National Building Organization, Ministry of Defense, Departments of Railways, Housing, and Urban Development Corporation, Public Works Department, etc.
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) are two of the most popular B.Arch entrance exams. The former is widely accepted by colleges offering these programs. The AAT is an entrance exam for admissions to architecture programs offered by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
